Kiwi skin and meditation
Today I'd like to share a couple things you may not know.
First: Can you eat the skin of a kiwi fruit?
The answer is YES! The kiwi fruit’s skin is completely edible, and even more nutritious than what’s inside it! Eating the skin triples the fiber intake, compared to eating the fruit without the skin. In addition, eating with the skin provides a much higher vitamin C content too.
A kiwi has around 45 calories and 11 grams of carbohydrates, with around 6.5 grams of sugar and 2.5 grams of fiber. It’s a great antioxidant with high levels of vitamin C to boost your immune system, can help with digestion issues, has antibacterial and antimicrobial capabilities, and can lower blood pressure and reduce the risk of heart disease.
Second: Do you meditate every day?
If not, then there’s an app called “Insight timer” that might help. It’s completely free, unless you want to take some of the courses, such as 10 secrets to better sleep or Overcome obsessive thinking — those cost around $4.99, but they also have some free courses too.
What I like about this app is that you can see how many people are meditating with you at same time. You can follow your own progress, and you can do guided or unguided meditations, with lots of options to choose from.

HAPPY CANADA DAY! And have a magnificent, healthy, and joyful week!
